Job Title: Civil Designer – Land Development

Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed civil engineering plans and documentation using Civil 3D in accordance with U.S. standards and client requirements.
Develop and manage Civil 3D models, including surfaces, alignments, profiles, corridors, grading plans, and utility networks (storm, sanitary, and water).
Convert engineering inputs into accurate, constructible design deliverables.
Produce plan/profile sheets, cross-sections, and quantity takeoffs using Civil 3D.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and CAD teams to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
Conduct QA/QC reviews of drawings and support the development of junior team members.
Maintain drawing standards, workflows, and documentation in line with U.S. codes and best practices (AASHTO, DOT, etc.).
Mentor and train team members to strengthen technical capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience using Autodesk Civil 3D on U.S.-based civil engineering projects.
Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
Strong expertise in:
Site grading and earthwork modeling
Roadway and corridor design
Stormwater and utility layouts
Sheet set preparation and annotation workflows
Solid understanding of U.S. civil engineering standards, regulations, and design practices.
