Job Description:
We are seeking a creative and driven people leader to spearhead the planning and execution of recruitment and business development events targeting Chinese Mainland Individuals (CMI). This role is responsible for identifying market opportunities, understanding the evolving needs of prospective advisors and clients, and developing innovative event experiences that drive engagement, recruitment, and business growth. The successful candidate will lead a team of event and project professionals to deliver impactful initiatives that strengthen the Company’s value proposition within the CMI segment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Finance, or related disciplines.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in event management, business development, marketing, customer engagement, recruitment, insurance, financial services, or related industries.
Proven track record of planning and delivering successful large-scale events, seminars, conferences, networking activities, or customer engagement programs.
Strong understanding of Chinese Mainland market dynamics and customer behavior.
Previous team leadership and people management experience is required.
Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Experience within insurance, wealth management, or financial services industries is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of innovative recruitment and business development events targeting Chinese Mainland Individuals (CMI).
Identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and participant needs to design attractive and engaging event experiences.
Develop creative event concepts, engagement campaigns, and communication themes that enhance recruitment effectiveness and business development outcomes.
Lead and oversee the end-to-end execution of seminars, conferences, networking events, recognition programs, roadshows, and client engagement activities.
Manage and develop a team of professionals responsible for event planning, project coordination, marketing communications, and operational support.
Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management to foster a high-performing and collaborative team culture.
Collaborate closely with agency leaders, internal business partners, marketing teams, and external vendors to ensure successful event delivery.
Monitor event performance, participant feedback, and business outcomes, and continuously enhance future initiatives based on insights and data.
Manage event budgets, resources, timelines, and governance to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
Support strategic initiatives and special projects that contribute to the growth and development of the CMI business segment.
