About the Role
The CRM Administrator will have global responsibility for the administration, development, and continuous improvement of the company’s CRM platform. This role is critical to enabling commercial teams to work effectively, ensuring the CRM is reliable, well-governed, and aligned to business processes across markets. Will work closely with commercial teams to understand requirements, translate them into scalable CRM solutions, and ensure high adoption and data quality. Partner closely with Data & Engineering teams to ensure CRM data is integrated, trusted, and fit for analytics and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong administration and development experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a practical mindset focused on usability, consistency, and business value. From time to time, the CRM Administrator may be required to support with other business systems.
Responsibilities
Own global administration of the CRM platform.
Manage users, roles, profiles, permissions and security.
Maintain system stability, performance and data integrity.
Act as the primary point of contact for CRM-related topics. Manage CRM incidents and drive issues through to resolution.
Maintain clear system and process documentation.
Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields and page layouts.
Build and maintain validation rules, flows and automation.
Deliver CRM enhancements based on business priorities. Translate business requirements into scalable CRM solutions.
Manage change requests from intake through to delivery.
Test, document and deploy system changes.
Follow Salesforce best practices and maintain platform scalability.
Partner with Commercial teams to understand business needs and pain points.
Support Sales Force Effectiveness through effective workflows and processes.
Improve CRM usability and user adoption. Promote consistent CRM usage and best practices.
Balance global standards with local market requirements. Communicate technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders.
Define and maintain CRM data standards.
Monitor and improve CRM data quality. Identify and resolve data issues, duplication and inconsistencies.
Partner with Data & Engineering teams on data quality and governance. Ensure CRM data is reliable for reporting and analytics.
Collaborate with Data & Engineering teams on CRM integrations.
Support CRM data flows into downstream data platforms.
Understand dependencies between CRM, data platforms and reporting.
Assess the impact of CRM changes on data models and integrations.
Act as the functional bridge between Commercial and technical teams.
Provide day-to-day CRM support to global users.
Create user guides and process documentation.
Deliver onboarding and refresher training.
Identify recurring user challenges and improve the underlying process or system.
Proactively identify CRM improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements based on business value and user needs.
Maintain a strong focus on long-term platform health by simplifying the processes and improving platform usability.
Qualifications
Relevant Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum 3 years in a CRM Administrator role
Proficient in SalesForce CRM Management
Pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience
Required Skills
Strong Salesforce CRM administration experience.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and how it relates to CRM & Sales Force Effectiveness
Exceptional drive and initiative - proactively identifies and solves problems
Collaborative team player who works effectively across functions
Salesforce objects, fields and page layouts. Validation rules, flows and automation.
CRM change and release management. Data quality and governance.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional projects independently
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Self-starter who thrives working autonomously with minimal supervision
Proven ability to manage projects independently.
Preferred Skills
Salesforce Certified.
Understanding of Agile/DevOps working methodologies
