Scope of the position: The Mobile Coordinator for the James Cancer Hospital & Richard J. Solove Research Institute supports operations of the James Mobile Screening Units through patient scheduling, registration, care coordination, navigation support, data tracking, and administrative functions.
Position summary: The Coordinator serves as a liaison between patients, providers, mobile unit staff, community partners, and healthcare teams to facilitate timely access to cancer screening services and ensure efficient clinic operations. They report to the business operations analyst and support them in completing various administrative tasks. The coordinator has no supervisory responsibility and maintains absolute confidentiality related to employee and patient information that may be viewed while carrying out various functions of the position.
Minimum qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be preferred. 1 year of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
