Job Title: Lead Content Editor
Location: Bangalore
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Detect and correct errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax.
● Edit the course and course components (assessments, projects, content-related documents) for language accuracy, ease of understanding, and enhanced readability.
● Evaluate the online self-learning videos for language quality and user experience.
● Ensure the course and its components are per Simplilearn quality standards.
● Check the overall content flow from the learner’s perspective.
● Use internal quality guidelines and checklists to identify and correct any deviations.
● Use an internal defect tracking system to log in defects based on the severity of errors and work toward closure.
● Generate a defect density report to analyze defects and reduce them.
● Ensure consistency within documents and across courses.
● Interact with program managers, learning and graphic designers to resolve issues, implement revisions, and verify information whenever necessary.
● Provide an appropriate recommendation that adds value to the course content.
● Provide suggestions to set and redefine the quality standard of the product.
● Mentor the team members to write grammatically accurate, engaging content.
Desired Profile:
EDUCATION - Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, communication, or humanities
EXPERIENCE - 2+ years in content editing.
Experience in e-learning editing and quality assurance is preferred.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

● Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
