Job Description:
Summary - Individual will primarily be “an expert” on various cybersecurity tools and platforms having the ability to successfully research, evaluate, design, configure, implement, maintain and monitor security systems, tools and product solutions and triage security incidents from start to end. The candidate should have a good technical understanding of general security technologies, concepts, administration protocols as this role will also be responsible for general security administration duties including Windows Active Directory object evaluation / maintenance, troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, security evaluations of Windows Servers , Domain Controllers, DNS, user authentication related tasks and triaging security events related to these areas. Must have capability to be hands -on technically and deliver expectations.
Responsibilities
• Must have capability to be hands -on technically and deliver expectations on listed security products.
• Exposure & Experience in handling Active Directory and its operations
• Must be technically very strong on foundational and advanced security concepts, principals, current technologies and systems
• Must be technically strong on new domains areas like API Security, AI Security, Agent Security etc and will be responsible for technical evaluation of these areas.
• Strong hands-on experience in security technologies and tools like SIEM, Email gateway , Email sandbox, PAM, Network Proxy , WAF, End point security, Identity Security and Identity Management, Dark web monitoring tools.
• Good experience in working/communicating with cross-functional IT infrastructure teams like network, system, database, application, security to build and manage effective security operations.
• Exposure to using frameworks and compliances like MITRE ATT&CK. CIS Critical Controls, OWASP, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001 etc.
• Exposure to related areas of cybersecurity including Host Security, Network Security, IAM, Vulnerability Management, DLP, Penetration Testing, Compliance etc.
• Deep dive analysis of triggered alerts using various security solutions.
• Good understanding of various SOC processes like monitoring, analysis, playbooks, escalation, incident documentation, SLAs, client meetings, report walk through, bridge calls,
• Perform root case analysis of incidents/breaches
• Build weekly and monthly reports as per SOC Manager and CISO requirements
• Assist SOC lead/Primary SME in reporting
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of designs/configurations

Having the Ability to critically think and problem solve a given situation /challenge
Ability to collaborate with peers and team members within and outside security function and the large organizational teams.
Experience / Certification / Licenses
7 Years (Min) – 10 Years experience required,
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information science or related field
Familiarity with Object Oriented programming concepts, scripting etc.
certification include (at least 1 min preferred): CISSP , CISM, Security+, GIAC, GSEC, GCIA, GCFA, GCTI
