CREO Engineer - Casting and Sheetmetal

Technical Skills and Responsibility:
1. CAD and Design Engineering:
Minimum 3 years of hands on experience using Creo 4.0/Creo 7.0 including relevant modules.
Provide CAD support for modeling and drafting of casting components for automotive and off highway applications.
Expertise in Part Modeling, Advanced Part Modeling and Surface Modeling techniques.
Strong skill in Creo Surfacing, Casting and Sheet metal modules.
Experience in skeleton modeling, copy geometry, merge inheritance and reverse engineering.
Proficient in managing Large Assemblies.
Create Sheet Metal Parts, Assemblies and Detailed Drawings.
Experience in producing manufacturing-ready drawings including casting and machining drawing with GD&T
2. Manufacturing and Process Knowledge:
Sound knowledge of casting process including:
Sand casting
High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC)
Low Pressure Die Casting (LPDC)
Continuous Casting
Good understanding of casting, forging and machining process and their applications.
Familiarity with Windchill PDM for design execution and data management.
Tools and Software:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Project and Creo.
Behavioral and Interpersonal Skills:
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
