Senior IT Architect, Veeva Domain

For our client, we are seeking a Senior IT Architect, Veeva Domain to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.
This role will shape the architecture and configuration strategy for critical life sciences technology solutions, with a strong focus on scalable design, governance, and cross-functional delivery. You will partner closely with IT leadership, implementation teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with enterprise standards and regulatory expectations. The position also serves as a key point of contact for integration design, roadmap alignment, and consistent solution delivery across the platform landscape.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $133,000 – $178,000 annually
Responsibilities
Translate business needs into scalable system configurations
Guide and mentor teams through solution delivery
Review key designs for compliance with business requirements
Oversee architecture during implementations and platform enhancements
Act as primary architecture authority for integrations
Drive consistency and standardization across solutions
Define and govern target-state architecture across multiple platforms
Liaise with product teams for roadmap alignment
Partner with IT leadership on strategy and investments
Serve as a trusted advisor to align with business and architecture standards
Qualifications
8+ years in system configuration/design or life sciences IT consulting
Experience with platform-based solutions for safety or clinical use cases
Proven track record in defining architecture standards
Leadership experience in cross-functional initiatives
Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in dynamic settings
Strategic mindset for aligning technology with business goals
Understanding of regulatory impacts on data in life sciences
