Azure Architect (Bicep) - REMOTE

For our client, we are seeking a Azure Architect (Bicep) - REMOTE to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space.
This role will shape enterprise cloud architecture on Microsoft Azure, with a strong focus on infrastructure as code and scalable platform design. You will partner closely with engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to define cloud standards, guide migration efforts, and support secure, cost-effective delivery across the organization. The position also plays a key role in governance, compliance, and the adoption of modern cloud practices.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $117,500 – $156,700 annually
Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure architectures for enterprise applications
Develop scalable and cost-efficient cloud solutions
Provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams
Lead Azure best practices adoption throughout the organization
Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategies and roadmaps
Establish governance frameworks and ensure compliance with regulations
Lead cloud migration projects, including planning and execution
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on Azure administration
Proven experience with Azure services and infrastructure as code tools, specifically Bicep
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate required; Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred
Strong understanding of networking concepts like DNS and routing
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
