Senior Project Engineer-Data Center Applications

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Project Engineer-Data Center Applications to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space.
This role will lead the engineering and project design efforts for data center applications, with a focus on delivering technically sound electrical solutions. The position partners closely with internal teams and customers to coordinate deliverables, manage changes, and support execution from design through testing. It is well suited for an engineer who can balance technical depth, customer communication, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead project design and coordinate deliverables
Serve as the technical lead for data center solutions
Ensure compliance with electrical standards
Manage customer expectations and engineering changes
Coordinate with teams for FAT and IFAT execution
Review design documentation for accuracy and risk mitigation
Mentor junior engineers and document best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
Knowledge of data center infrastructure
Experience with ehouse and modular systems
5+ years of experience in electrical power systems and project engineering
Expertise in MV/LV switchgear and associated electrical equipment
Strong design and calculation skills for electrical systems in Power Distribution Centers
Proficiency in electrical drawing creation and review
