Senior Platform Manager, Authorizations

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Platform Manager, Authorizations to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will own the health and optimization of a critical authorization and transaction platform that supports secure payment processing and fraud-related functionality. You will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Fraud, vendors, and leadership to improve transaction data flow, token provisioning, monitoring, and testing discipline. The position requires someone who can translate complex platform behavior into clear operational insights and help keep the environment stable, scalable, and responsive.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $123,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
Monitor and optimize the health of the authorization and transaction platform
Manage fraud-related features and authorization settings
Collaborate with Product on transaction data mapping and token provisioning
Develop operational dashboards and perform SQL queries for data analysis
Standardize testing approaches for authentication and transaction changes
Serve as core backup for terms, statements, and cards support
Translate platform complexities to actionable insights for various teams
Qualifications
Strong expertise in TSYS TS2 authorization and transaction processing
Proven ability to solve complex platform issues independently
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Fraud, Product, and Engineering
Excellent communication skills for presenting ideas to vendors and leadership
Skilled in building and maintaining authorization monitoring infrastructure
Ability to execute testing plans effectively in fast-paced settings
Willingness to travel 4-6 times annually for collaboration
