Full Stack AI Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Full Stack AI Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will focus on building and enhancing AI-enabled applications that support core business processes and improve the end-to-end user experience. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other cross-functional partners to turn needs into scalable, production-ready solutions. The position offers the opportunity to contribute across the full application lifecycle, from architecture and development through testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholders to define measurable outcomes and technical solutions
Translate business needs into functional requirements and production-ready software
Implement AI-enabled capabilities leveraging large language models and other AI technologies
Develop and maintain robust testing and continuous delivery pipelines
Monitor application health and respond to incidents and defects
Implement secure coding standards and collaborate with technical teams
Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable and maintainable software solutions
Qualifications
5+ years of professional software engineering experience
2-3 years of experience with AI-assisted engineering tools
Proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or TypeScript/Node.js
Strong frontend development skills using JavaScript or TypeScript with frameworks like React
Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices
Practical experience integrating large language models into production applications
Strong understanding of secure software development principles
