Senior Software Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Transportation space.
This role will focus on building scalable, reliable, and secure software that supports complex logistics and merchant-to-consumer experiences. You will partner closely with Product and Design to shape priorities, turn ideas into shipped features, and improve the systems that power the company’s platform. The position also calls for strong technical leadership, including mentoring engineers and raising the bar for code quality and development practices.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $125,000 – $150,000 annually
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure systems
Tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovative, efficient solutions
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning
Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define and prioritize work
Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and development practices
Own features from ideation to deployment and influence specifications
Contribute to scaling processes, tools, and technologies across teams
Qualifications
5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on modern web development
Proven experience architecting and implementing complex distributed systems
Strong full-stack development principles and scalable system design knowledge
Proficiency in full-stack TypeScript, including Node.js and React
Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Experience building complex web applications with large datasets
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
