Principal Technologist - Lenovo

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Technologist - Lenovo to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role serves as a senior technical authority for strategic infrastructure opportunities and helps shape architectural direction for complex enterprise solutions. The position partners closely with sales, services, and customer stakeholders to validate designs, position differentiated solutions, and guide executive-level technical discussions. The work centers on translating business needs and operational constraints into scalable, well-structured technology recommendations that support customer outcomes and growth.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $151,350 – $211,870 annually
Responsibilities
Serve as the national technical authority for strategic infrastructure opportunities
Define architectural direction for various infrastructure solutions
Lead technical strategies for complex pursuits, including architecture validation and competitive positioning
Design solutions based on business needs and operational constraints
Act as a trusted advisor, leading executive briefings and innovation workshops
Review peer designs for quality and alignment with requirements
Collaborate with services teams to define complementary services and scope
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 7 years in technical pre-sales or architecture
Proven expertise in enterprise data center infrastructure and related technologies
Strong background in designing and selling complex technology solutions and services
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with advanced consulting abilities
Ability to influence others, mentor peers, and uphold standards in technical practices
Strong business acumen with a focus on customer outcomes and growth
