Director, Systems Analysis (Quality Engineering Capabilities)

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Systems Analysis (Quality Engineering Capabilities) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will shape enterprise-wide quality engineering and requirements analysis strategy in support of modernization efforts across technology and business teams. The director will guide the evolution of AI-enabled testing, test automation, and release practices that improve speed, traceability, and confidence in delivery. This is a highly visible leadership role that partners with senior stakeholders to strengthen engineering productivity while maintaining quality and security standards.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $149,000 – $262,000 annually
Responsibilities
Define and drive enterprise strategy for quality engineering and requirements analysis
Set strategic direction for AI-enabled testing to enhance automation and traceability
Advance modern approaches to test automation for faster engineering productivity
Establish practices to support frequent releases while maintaining quality and security
Lead activities that support enterprise enablement in consistent quality engineering and requirements analysis
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align priorities with modernization objectives
Provide leadership in improving quality engineering capabilities to reduce delivery friction
Qualifications
10+ years in technology-enabled business solutions and transformational change, preferably in insurance or financial services
Strong analytical and communication skills with proven executive presence
Proficiency in planning, influencing, and building relationships with diverse stakeholders
Experience in technology analysis, business transformation planning, requirements management, and test automation
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field preferred; certifications encouraged
