Staff Software Engineer, Dev Ops

For our client, we are seeking a Staff Software Engineer, Dev Ops to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will shape the cloud infrastructure and delivery practices that support reliable software release at scale. You will lead DevOps architecture across engineering and security partners, with a strong focus on automation, resilience, and operational consistency. The position is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can modernize CI/CD, improve platform reliability, and influence engineering strategy across teams.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $105,540 – $168,860 annually
Responsibilities
Lead DevOps initiatives and technical architecture
Define infrastructure and operational best practices
Implement scalable CI/CD pipelines to enhance software delivery
Architect and maintain robust cloud environments on AWS and Azure
Develop Infrastructure-as-Code for automation solutions
Design containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
Collaborate with security teams to uphold best practices
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and software delivery
Success in leading DevOps or cloud modernization projects in SaaS
Experience architecting fault-tolerant systems
Ability to influence technical strategy across teams
