Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a Senior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will help design and operate secure, scalable cloud infrastructure that supports reliable software delivery and production performance.
You will partner closely with software and security teams to strengthen automation, improve deployment workflows, and resolve complex infrastructure challenges.
The position offers the opportunity to influence technical standards, mentor others, and drive continuous improvement across modern cloud environments.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $140,000 – $200,000 annually
Responsibilities
Design, build, and improve secure cloud infrastructure
Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
Create automation scripts and tools in Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash
Deploy and manage containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes
Implement cloud architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud services
Troubleshoot complex issues across Linux systems, networking, and cloud services
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or an associate degree with equivalent experience
8+ years of technical experience in DevOps and Cloud Engineering
Expertise in Unix/Linux administration and infrastructure automation
Strong skills in scripting languages: Python, Go, PowerShell, or Bash
Proven track record in designing and operating production infrastructure with automation
