Senior Engineering Manager, MSSP

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, MSSP to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.
This role will guide a backend and full-stack engineering organization responsible for scaling a multi-tenant platform that supports partner-driven service models.
You will shape architecture, execution, and team development across tenant isolation, delegated administration, and client management capabilities.
The position calls for a leader who can balance near-term partner needs with long-term platform improvements while driving engineering quality and production readiness.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $260,000 – $280,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of backend and full-stack engineers
Drive platform strategy for multi-tenant partner models, focusing on multi-tenancy and client management
Establish architecture for tenant isolation and partner entitlements
Promote quality engineering through design reviews and blameless retrospectives
Balance partner support needs with a roadmap of platform improvements
Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing engineering talent
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience leading multi-tenant SaaS engineering teams
Deep knowledge of multi-tenancy, account hierarchies, and delegated administration
Familiarity with partner software models such as MSP, MSSP, and OEM
Proven ability to transition complex platform designs to production scale
Strong background with major cloud providers and identity management systems
