DevSecOps Engineer – Intelligent Platforms & Agents

For our client, we are seeking a DevSecOps Engineer – Intelligent Platforms & Agents to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.
This role will focus on strengthening secure delivery pipelines and platform operations in highly regulated environments. The ideal candidate will help design and maintain modern deployment tooling, automate compliance-related workflows, and improve the reliability and security of infrastructure used across sensitive government programs. This position also partners closely with engineering teams to embed security early in the development lifecycle and support continuous improvement through automation and AI-enabled tooling.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $107,900 – $195,050 annually
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure government environments
Build and harden Kubernetes environments in compliance-driven settings and align them with DISA STIG requirements
Automate security artifact generation for compliance
Drive Infrastructure as Code and GitOps practices across the team
Leverage AI tools to enhance pipeline development and compliance remediation
Collaborate with engineers to ensure security requirements are integrated from project inception
Maintain deployment infrastructure for various secure environments
Qualifications
Active Secret security clearance required
BS degree with 4+ years in DevSecOps/DevOps engineering or 8+ years of total relevant experience
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI
Experience managing and hardening Kubernetes in compliance-driven environments
Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
Automated security scanning and CVE remediation experience
Scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation
