Rodman

We are seeking a reliable and safety conscious Rodman to support Mine Engineering and assist the Surveyor or Instrument Man with field assignments. The role involves assisting with surveying equipment, measurements, data collection, and field marking as directed by the Senior Surveyor. The successful candidate must follow instructions, work effectively in a team, and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately. Safety, attention to detail, and compliance with HSE procedures are essential for this position.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Assist the Surveyor or Instrument Man with proper planning and work preparation to ensure field activities are executed safely, accurately, completely, and within the required timeframe.
Assist with staking out drill patterns, pit and bench limits, ore packets, and other survey points required to support daily mining activities.
Provide and maintain accurate survey marks to support Mine Engineering and ensure mining activities are carried out according to the required dimensions, grades, and specifications.
Perform follow-up checks after staking to verify that survey marks remain correctly positioned and that assigned work has been completed as required.
Support mining, exploration, construction, and special projects while following HSE requirements and maintaining a safe and environmentally responsible work area.
