Role Description As a Senior Architect at Space Play Design Studio, you will lead the design and delivery of architecture projects from concept through execution. You will be responsible for developing design proposals, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, and coordinating with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to ensure design intent is maintained. Daily tasks include guiding junior team members, reviewing design and technical outputs, managing project timelines, and overseeing quality standards across all project stages. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Hyderabad, with a mix of in-studio collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility to support effective project delivery.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, including concept development, space planning, and design detailing.
Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including scheduling, resource coordination, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
Candidates should possess Integration skills, with the ability to coordinate structural, MEP, and other building systems into cohesive architectural solutions.
Candidates should possess foundational Software Development understanding where relevant to design tools, parametric workflows, or digital collaboration platforms.
Proficiency in major design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite or similar) and familiarity with BIM workflows.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and prior experience leading projects in a design or architecture studio.
Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members and collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and sustainable design practices; registration with professional architectural bodies is an advantage.
