Your Role & Responsibilities
In a time of increasing regulatory requirements, sustainability and transparency are becoming increasingly important. In this position, you will play a central role in preparing relevant product and sustainability data and contribute to implementing requirements efficiently and future-oriented.
In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world, by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact.
The work model for the role is: onsite with 10 home office days a month
Preparation of reports on product sustainability and EU taxonomy in accordance with current regulatory requirements.
Monitoring of relevant EU and national regulations and communication of new requirements to internal stakeholders.
Coordination of the collection, validation, and timely submission of key figures to ABB, in close collaboration with R&D, Finance, Procurement, Operations, and the Sustainability team.
Support with tariff classification, US customs requirements, and WEEE product classification for the EU market.

What it takes to Run what runs the world
Knowledge in the field of product sustainability and/or EU taxonomy, or the motivation to develop expertise in this area as a career starter.
Technical understanding and interest in sustainability and industrial automation.
Excellent communication skills to convey complex requirements in an understandable manner.
Structured, analytical, and meticulous working style.
Enjoyment of collaborating with different business areas.
Excellent German and English language skills, written and verbal.
Experience with SAP or data management tools is advantageous.

The minimum compensation, in accordance with the electrical and electronics industry collective agreement, is 3.888,53 EUR monthly for a full-time position as of May 2026. But we would be pleased to speak in person about your compensation package in relation to your qualifications and experience!
