Principal Product Owner

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Owner to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will help shape product direction within a healthcare environment, translating strategic goals into clear priorities and actionable delivery for cross-functional teams. You will partner closely with stakeholders and Agile teams to ensure the backlog reflects business needs, user value, and execution readiness. The position also includes providing functional guidance to leadership and helping drive alignment on important decisions that support broader organizational objectives.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $138,900 – $191,000 annually
Responsibilities
Define user stories that clearly convey product vision and business needs
Prioritize the product backlog to maximize value
Liaise with stakeholders to ensure alignment
Serve as the primary contact for the Agile team
Develop and drive functional strategies with executives
Provide strategic guidance to functional teams
Make high-level recommendations on significant matters
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or Doctorate preferred
10+ years of technical experience
2-5 years of project or people leadership experience
Advanced technical skills
Expertise in Agile methodologies
