User Experience Designer

Role Description The User Experience Designer at 47Billion will work full-time on-site in Indore, collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and subject-matter experts to design intuitive experiences for students, teachers, and administrators. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting user research, mapping user journeys, and applying design thinking to translate complex requirements into clear interaction flows. The role involves creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs, as well as iterating based on feedback and usability testing. The designer will maintain design systems and ensure consistency across web and mobile interfaces, while contributing to product strategy with user-centered insights. This role also requires documenting design decisions and presenting concepts to stakeholders in a clear, structured manner.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in User Experience (UX) principles and Design Thinking, with the ability to solve complex problems through user-centered approaches.
Experience in User Research, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design decisions.
Proficiency in Visual Design and interaction design, with a portfolio demonstrating clean, accessible, and engaging interfaces.
Hands-on skills in Prototyping, wireframing, and using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar).
Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design, accessibility best practices, and basic knowledge of front-end capabilities and constraints.
Interest or experience in edtech, higher education, or enterprise platforms is an advantage.
