Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Surat. The Interior Designer will develop concepts, prepare mood boards, and create detailed layouts that address client requirements and project constraints. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, selecting materials and finishes, coordinating FF&E, and preparing construction drawings and documentation. The role involves collaborating with architects, contractors, and vendors, attending site visits, managing design changes, and ensuring design intent is carried through to execution. The Interior Designer will also participate in client meetings, present design proposals, and support project coordination from initial briefing through project completion.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with the ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Space Planning skills to create efficient, comfortable, and aesthetically cohesive layouts.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailing, documentation, and coordination with project teams.
Candidates should possess experience in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and material palettes.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools.
Strong visual communication skills, including hand sketching, 3D visualization, and clear presentation of ideas.
Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple projects.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; relevant studio or site experience is preferred.
