Director, Digital/Technical Product Management

For our client, we are seeking a Director, Digital/Technical Product Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This leader will oversee a product management function focused on shaping digital and technology-driven experiences that support customer needs and business growth. The role will guide portfolio-level strategy, roadmaps, and execution across a major market segment while partnering with cross-functional teams to improve outcomes. It also requires a balance of strategic leadership, technical fluency, and customer-centric thinking to deliver better experiences through data-driven product development.
The position will manage and develop a team, applying Agile and Lean Product Development practices to drive efficient execution and strong collaboration.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $143,320 – $273,930 annually
Responsibilities
Attract, select, and develop a digital/technology product management team
Manage day-to-day activities of the product management team to drive efficiency
Oversee end-to-end management of a product portfolio or major market segment
Set new product strategies and oversee development of product roadmaps
Apply expertise in state-of-the-art digital and technology domains
Use strategic thinking to improve business outcomes within the team
Guide teams to implement data-driven methodologies that optimize user experiences
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant education/experience
8 years of digital/technology product management experience, or 6 years with an advanced degree
3 years of experience leading direct or matrixed teams
Ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with leadership and teams
Strong business acumen with technical and customer experience knowledge
Familiarity with Agile and Lean Product Development
Knowledge of Experience Design concepts and related analytical techniques
