Auditor Technical Trainer (Outpatient/Specialty Audits)

For our client, we are seeking a Auditor Technical Trainer (Outpatient/Specialty Audits) to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.
This role will focus on designing and delivering technical training that strengthens audit accuracy, coding knowledge, and compliance awareness across the team. The position partners closely with subject matter experts and new team members to support onboarding, skill development, and ongoing performance improvement. It also plays an important role in encouraging critical thinking and clear discussion around audit findings and outcomes.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $105,000 – $125,000 annually
Responsibilities
Assess training needs and develop technical training plans with subject matter experts.
Select and utilize appropriate training methods for skill development.
Deliver training sessions using diverse teaching methods across various platforms.
Provide mentorship and support during orientation for new audit team members.
Encourage critical thinking and discussion on audit accuracy and findings.
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor's degree preferred.
5-7 years in claims auditing or related fields with a focus on medical claims and coding.
Required coding certification (CCS, CPC, etc.); CCDS optional, but coding certification must be obtained within 6 months if not already held.
Expert knowledge of coding guidelines and CMS compliance requirements.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
