Senior Cinematic Animator - Freelance

Key Responsibilities:
Animate characters and props for cinematic sequences with a focus on high-energy action and storytelling
Use Maya to create, refine, and polish animation before integration into Unreal Engine
Collaborate with cinematic artists to choreograph action-driven, cinematic moments that emphasize clarity and drama
Apply technical animation skills, including rigging, skinning characters/props for cinematic use, and cleaning up motion capture data
Troubleshoot and optimize animation pipelines between Maya and Unreal Engine
Key Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in Character Animation for Games or Film with a focus on Cinematic work
Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine
Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality cinematic animation work
Experience with motion capture cleanup and implementation
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute to a fast-paced production environment
Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Based in Spain
