Responsibilities:
Install, qualify, and maintain automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
Apply AI technologies to semiconductor product visual inspection.
Improve product appearance and reduce visual defects.
Monitor visual inspection yield and implement corrective actions.
Develop and optimize rule-based inspection recipes.
Deploy visual inspection systems and best practices to overseas sites.
Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, IT, and equipment suppliers.
Expected Background:
Bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree in engineering, science, computer science, or a related field.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, visual inspection, or equipment engineering.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Fluent Japanese communication skills.
Basic English communication skills for emails, documents, and online meetings.
Expected Skill:
Mandatory experience implementing automated visual inspection using rule-based methods.
Mandatory experience applying AI to visual inspection.
Experience with AOI system installation, qualification, and recipe development.
Experience analyzing inspection data and improving yield.
Experience deploying systems or processes across multiple manufacturing sites is preferred.
Experience with Python, image processing, machine learning, or data analysis is preferred.
