Job Title - Sr. Engineer - Test Rig Operations
Purpose of the role / Functional context:
The position is responsible for handling Test rig, CMM and CNC Activities, supporting PC's for products requests to analysis & generate reports. Involving in developing new set of fixtures to reduce the lead-time. Good knowledge on Mechanical to understand the problems and to provide solutions.
Work closely with the cross functional teams to understand the background history of failures or areas of improvement and this leads to improvement of the product.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for inspection by using CMM & CONTOURECORD
Co-ordinating with Customers for new material requests, conducting required analysis and sending. reports to customers after investigations done at GRTC.
Support to Rig & Customized equipment testing activities.
Responsible for preparing programs of CNC machines.
Attending trainings pertaining to personal development.
Ensuring good housekeeping.
Competences & Skills
Thorough Knowledge of Test Rig Functions,
Knowledge of CMM Operation, CNC turning & Auto-cad will have added advantage.
Knowledge in handling Contourecord, EDM machine
Handling special purpose machines.
Knowledge in Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Knowledge in solving simple mechanical problems with hand calculations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Educational: B.E. / B. Tech - Mechanical.
Experiential: Preferably 2-4 years of relevant experience.
