Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Solapur. The Design Engineer will develop and refine product concepts, translate requirements into detailed designs, and create technical drawings and models using CAD tools. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, performing design calculations, reviewing engineering specifications, and supporting prototype development and testing. The role also involves troubleshooting design issues, optimizing designs for manufacturability and performance, and preparing documentation to support production and quality assurance activities.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate ideas into practical, manufacturable solutions.
Solid knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, mechanics, and basic manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to integrated mechanical–electrical systems (basic circuits, components, interfaces).
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working in on-site, cross-functional teams.
Willingness to learn, adapt to new tools and methods, and contribute to continuous improvement in design processes.
