Senior Resource and Innovation Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Resource and Innovation Manager to join the team of a leader in the Legal & Accounting space.
This role will lead global vendor management and sourcing efforts that support the firm’s resource strategy, operational priorities, and service delivery goals. You will partner closely with finance, practice groups, and leadership to align resources, manage renewals, and strengthen adoption across a complex professional services environment. The position also includes oversight of reporting, budget collaboration, and development of an operational support team.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $119,000 – $175,000 annually
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a global vendor management strategy
Manage relationships with key vendors to maximize service delivery
Lead sourcing and renewal initiatives across multiple vendor types
Oversee resource usage reporting and drive adoption strategies
Collaborate with finance and practice groups on budget management
Serve as a liaison to practice group leadership for resource alignment
Coach and develop an operational support team
Qualifications
5-7 years of experience in vendor management and strategic sourcing
Master’s degree in library/information science preferred
Strong expertise in procurement methodologies and financial analysis
Proven success in contract negotiations and project management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels of a law firm
Familiarity with legal technology and evolving information trends
People management experience preferred
