For our client, we are seeking a Product Development Director (P&C Auto) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will lead the development and launch of new digital-first auto insurance offerings, with a strong focus on aligning product strategy to customer needs, market dynamics, and risk considerations. You will oversee the full product lifecycle from concept through post-launch performance, helping shape a pipeline of innovative solutions that strengthen competitive positioning. The position also partners closely with compliance and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure products are positioned effectively and brought to market with integrity.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $127,310 – $243,340 annually
Responsibilities
Develop new digital-first auto product offerings to meet member needs and risks
Oversee post-launch monitoring and management of new products based on performance and competitive changes
Make recommendations for new product launches, including assessment of buy/build/ally decisions
Create innovative product solutions that maintain a dynamic development pipeline
Conduct complex data analysis to inform product strategy and competitive intelligence
Communicate the value proposition for new products to ensure proper positioning
Coordinate compliance with relevant regulatory partners to ensure product integrity
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Statistics, or equivalent education and/or experience
8 years of relevant experience in Actuarial, Pricing, Underwriting, Marketing, Operations, Financial Services, or military experience
Extensive experience in developing and deploying products
Experience with agile product development processes and managing multiple products simultaneously
Knowledge of the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC)
Hands-on experience with problem framing and product experimentation
Ability to manage complex initiatives effectively
