Role Overview
Techie is looking for a skilled PHP Developer with strong experience in both backend and
frontend development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of PHP,
MySQL, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, APIs, and web application development.
The developer will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving web-based
applications, integrating third-party services, working with databases, and ensuring
applications are secure, responsive, and user-friendly.
Key Responsibilities
● Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and MySQL.
● Handle and maintain existing web applications, including updates, changes,
modifications, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
● Add new features and functionalities to existing web applications based on
business and user requirements.
● Create responsive user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, and JavaScript.
● Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party APIs.
● Work with JSON, AJAX, API authentication, and data exchange between
systems.
● Design, manage, and optimize MySQL databases.
● Write clean, structured, reusable, and maintainable code.
● Troubleshoot bugs and resolve application issues.
● Develop backend functionality, business logic, forms, dashboards, and admin panels.
● Integrate frontend designs with backend PHP functionality.
● Implement secure login, authentication, authorization, and session management.
● Perform API testing and debugging using tools such as Postman.
● Maintain existing websites and applications and implement new features.
● Optimize applications for performance, speed, and scalability.
● Ensure websites and applications work properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile
devices.
● Follow coding standards, security practices, and proper documentation.
● Coordinate with management, designers, and other team members regarding project
requirements.
Required Technical Skills
● Strong knowledge of PHP.
● Good knowledge of MySQL / SQL.
● Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
● Working knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
● Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
● Understanding of JSON, HTTP methods, API authentication, and web services.
● Knowledge of CRUD operations and database-driven applications.
● Experience with responsive web development.
● Knowledge of Git or other version-control systems.
● Understanding of website security, validation, error handling, and debugging.
Preferred Skills
● Experience with payment gateway, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or other third-party API
integrations.
● Basic understanding of server hosting, cPanel, domains,Lightsail, SSL, and
deployment.
● Experience with Linux/server environments will be an advantage.
● Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks or libraries will be an added advantage.
● Ability to understand existing code and enhance legacy applications.

Qualification:-
Education: B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. Computer Science / Diploma in Computer
Science or equivalent qualification.
Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience in PHP and web application development
preferred.
