SENIOR FRONTEND ENGINEER

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to own our customer-facing web application. You will build our core dashboard from scratch, set our web architecture, and ship production-ready UI directly to users.
You will report directly to the Founder. You will have full autonomy over the frontend, minimal meeting overhead, and direct input on product direction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Build the Core Product: Architect and build a responsive, production-ready web console from scratch for managing, purchasing, and redeeming gift cards.
• Integrate APIs: Connect the interface to backend systems and third-party APIs. Handle state, data fetching, edge-case UI states, and performance.
• Set Technical Standards: Establish our frontend architecture, component structure, testing, and deployment pipeline.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Proven Frontend Experience: Prior track record of building and launching complex, data-heavy web applications in production.
• Modern Stack Mastery: Deep proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, modern CSS, and frameworks like React, Next.js, or Vue.
• API & State Architecture: Strong experience handling REST/GraphQL APIs, optimistic UI updates, state management, and error boundaries.
• Product Mindset: Ability to translate user flows into clean UI without needing micro-managed design specs.
• Clear Communication: Direct, proactive communication in an asynchronous environment.
