Role Description The Interaction Designer will work full time on-site in Pune City, collaborating closely with design, marketing, and production teams to shape intuitive and visually compelling digital and physical user experiences around Papillon’s furniture offerings. Responsibilities include defining interaction flows for digital touchpoints (such as websites, configurators, and digital catalogs), designing intuitive user journeys, and ensuring consistent visual language across platforms. The role involves conducting user-centered design activities, translating insights into wireframes and interactive prototypes, and refining designs based on feedback and usability considerations. The Interaction Designer will also support cross-functional teams with clear documentation, communicate design decisions to stakeholders, and ensure that all user interfaces reflect Papillon’s luxury brand identity.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Human Computer Interaction and Interaction Design skills, with a focus on user-centered digital experiences.
Candidates should possess solid Visual Design skills, including layout, typography, and design systems aligned with a luxury brand aesthetic.
Candidates should possess UX Research skills, such as user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Candidates should possess Prototyping skills, using tools to create interactive wireframes and design mockups for review and testing.
Relevant experience in designing interfaces for premium or lifestyle brands, furniture or interior design domains is beneficial.
Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, present design concepts clearly, and incorporate stakeholder and user feedback.
Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and familiarity with responsive design principles.
Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, UX, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
