Senior Director, Product Management (Financial Platforms)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Director, Product Management (Financial Platforms) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on the strategy and evolution of core financial platforms that support lending and payment capabilities. The role will guide a team of product managers, align cross-functional partners, and shape scalable platform solutions that can support growth and international expansion. It will also require close partnership with technical, operational, and senior business leaders to translate complex domain needs into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $305,000 – $375,000 annually
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a high-performing product management team of 6-10 PMs
Own the multi-year strategy for loan lifecycle and money movement platforms
Serve as the domain authority for loan systems and payment mechanisms
Drive cross-functional alignment across teams and stakeholders
Enable platform scalability to support international expansion
Define and track success metrics to improve platform health
Influence senior leadership on strategic priorities and tradeoffs
Qualifications
15+ years of product management experience, including 3-5 years managing PM teams
Deep understanding of loan lifecycle mechanics and compliance
Extensive background in money movement and payments infrastructure
Previous experience in fintech, financial services, or banking
Strong technical skills with data models and APIs
Proficiency with AI-assisted tools for productivity
Exceptional stakeholder management abilities
