Principal Product Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will shape product direction for a cloud storage offering, translating customer needs, market signals, and technical constraints into a clear strategy. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Product Marketing, and internal stakeholders to guide features from discovery through launch. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in technical product leadership and a strong ability to build alignment across teams in a fast-moving cloud environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $225,000 – $250,000 annually
Responsibilities
Drive product strategy and roadmap development for cloud storage offerings
Lead the full product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery of new features
Gather insights from internal teams and customers to inform product discovery and prioritization
Translate customer challenges into actionable product requirements in partnership with Design and Engineering
Collaborate with Product Marketing to launch and promote new products and features
Serve as a subject matter expert for the company’s solutions and engage with key stakeholders
Establish and monitor key product metrics to inform decision-making and support growth
Stay current on object storage advancements and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities
Qualifications
8+ years of Product Management experience in the tech industry, with a focus on IaaS/SaaS products
Proven track record launching and scaling technical products through cross-functional collaboration
Strong understanding of cloud architecture, APIs, and security compliance requirements
Experience managing product roadmaps and driving the product life cycle
Ability to transform market trends and customer needs into a strategic product vision and actionable roadmap
Empathy for users and a passion for addressing security challenges through innovative solutions
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and consensus
