Senior Data Product Owner

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Data Product Owner to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.
This role will own data product definition and lifecycle quality across complex initiatives, from early problem framing through handoff and implementation. You will help establish clear standards for product opportunities, business metrics, and context specifications that enable strong execution. The position also partners closely with analytics, engineering, and solution teams to guide deployment decisions and maintain the business context layer for AI-driven products.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $120,000 – $145,000 annually
Responsibilities
Own product quality throughout the entire lifecycle, from problem framing to handoff
Set and demonstrate high standards for product opportunities
Make decisive calls on product definitions moving forward
Develop methods and templates for Solutions Analysts to use autonomously
Write product definitions, business metrics, and context specifications for complex projects
Lead decisions on deployment channels effectively
Maintain the business context layer for AI products
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
7+ years in data, analytics, or product with hands-on product definition experience
Expert in creating detailed product specifications and business metric tables
Technical fluency in Databricks, Teams, and Dynamics
Strong leadership instincts, demonstrating standards in action
Ability to influence without direct authority among peers
Disciplined in managing boundaries with engineering teams
