Product Owner - Fiserv Core

For our client, we are seeking a Product Owner - Fiserv Core to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space.
This role will own the product direction for the core banking platform, balancing business needs, operational priorities, and compliance requirements. You will partner closely with business leaders, operations, and technology teams to shape the roadmap, define requirements, and support timely delivery of enhancements that improve the banking experience. The position requires a strong blend of banking knowledge, product management discipline, and analytical rigor to help guide decisions in a highly regulated environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $105,000 – $140,000 annually
Responsibilities
Serve as the subject matter expert and business owner for the core banking system.
Define the product vision and communicate the roadmap aligned with business goals.
Evaluate industry trends and customer needs for product improvement opportunities.
Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog for functionality and compliance.
Collaborate with teams for timely release of new features and lead user acceptance testing.
Act as a liaison between business leaders, operations, and technology teams.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
5+ years in banking operations, technology, or product management.
Familiarity with core banking systems and ancillary products is essential.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with high attention to detail.
Experience in dashboard reporting applications and advanced Excel skills.
