Job Requirements (Principal Responsibilities)
Sets up new items in the ERP system and enters data relating to customers, suppliers, product prices, discounts, rebates, premiums, expiration dates, payment terms, freight carriers, routes and others. Maintains tables, master files and data with up-to-date information ensuring complete accuracy of data. Ensures customer master files are accurate and up to date with pricing information.
Verifies accuracy and completeness of customer invoices, Sales commissions and price rebates. Calculates amounts due, generates and issues invoices, sales commissions and others on a regular basis.
Communicates with Sales, Planning, Credit, Purchasing and other internal groups as necessary to validate data, identify and resolve discrepancies. Monitors retroactive activity involving credit notes, price changes and rebates and communicates with Finance as appropriate.
May coordinate activities around customer feedback system. Follows up and expedites resolution and completion of open items.
Queries and extracts data from ERP and other systems in order to generate standard and ad-hoc reports.
Contributes to the implementation, maintenance and improvement of documentation supporting SSC processes.
Performs other duties as required by manager. May assist with master file set ups and/or processing credit/debit adjustments. Queries and extracts data from ERP to generate reports.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Behaviors)
Ability to use computers and specific software applications, such as an ERP system.
General aptitude with numbers and ability to complete basic calculations.
Ability to work fast with a high degree of accuracy. Attention to details.
Fluency in English or other language may be required.
Education/Experience
Some college preferred.
3-5 years related experience.
