Forward Deployed Engineer

Responsibilities:
Work directly with customers to understand business and operational challenges.
Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and system designs.
Build and deploy AI-powered systems, agents, and automation solutions.
Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition to production deployment.
Integrate solutions with customer systems, APIs, databases, and existing workflows.
Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve reliability and performance.
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Participate in customer discussions, technical calls, demos, and solutioning.
Contribute to engineering practices, documentation, and reusable tools.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical problem-solving roles.
Experience as a Founding Engineer, Founding Member, Early Engineer, or in an early-stage startup.
Strong experience working in 0-to-1 product development and building systems from scratch.
Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or Go.
Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, integrations, and data flows.
Proven experience in client-facing / customer-facing roles with regular customer interaction.
Ability to understand customer requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
Strong ownership mindset and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
Experience taking products/features from development to production.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
