We are looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed logistics professional to own the end-to-end supply chain, from coordinating inbound shipments from China to last-mile delivery and warehouse operations. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role focused on ensuring smooth fulfillment and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers in China on production handover, shipment schedules, and documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading.
Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers for smooth clearance and timely inbound deliveries.
Track international shipments end-to-end and proactively flag delays to the team.
Develop working knowledge of import duties, HS codes, and GST/IGST implications relevant to product categories.
Manage day-to-day operations on Shiprocket, including creating and processing orders, tracking shipments, handling NDRs, and coordinating re-attempts.
Own the returns and reverse logistics process, ensuring fast resolution and clean stock re-entry at the warehouse.
Monitor courier SLAs and escalate issues with partners before they impact customer experience.
Maintain clean records of dispatch, delivery, and exceptions in the tracking system.
Oversee inbound receiving by verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders and flagging discrepancies.
Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records, including SKU-wise stock levels, locations, and movement logs.
Coordinate pick, pack, and dispatch operations to meet daily order SLAs.
Ensure proper storage standards, product handling, packaging integrity, and basic SOPs.
Flag stock health issues such as slow movers, near-zero stock, and discrepancies to the operations lead.
Work with customer care on open delivery issues needing logistics resolution.
Align with the brand team on product launch timelines, stock-in dates, and availability commitments.
Maintain clear, professional communication with freight partners, courier vendors, and the warehouse team.
Requirements:
Experience in logistics, supply chain, or D2C operations.
Familiarity with import processes and documentation, preferably for China freight.
Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for tracking and reporting.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and a clear communicator.
Comfortable working in a small, fast-moving startup environment.
Nice To Have: Hands-on experience with Shiprocket or a similar D2C logistics platform.
