Associate Software Engine

Role Description The Associate Software Engineer is a part-time, remote role focused on supporting the digital presence and technical operations of QS Simple Treasures & Greetings, LLC. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web applications and e-commerce features, as well as troubleshooting software issues and implementing fixes. The role involves collaborating with team members to understand business requirements, translating those needs into clean, efficient code, and helping improve user experience across digital platforms. The Associate Software Engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and support research into new tools or technologies that can enhance system performance and reliability.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Programming and Software Development skills with experience in modern languages and frameworks relevant to web and e-commerce platforms.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Research abilities to diagnose issues, evaluate solutions, and stay informed about emerging technologies.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional team members and clearly explain technical concepts.
Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic software testing or QA practices is beneficial.
Familiarity with front-end and/or back-end web development, databases, and APIs is preferred.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage part-time hours effectively, and adapt to changing business needs.
Relevant coursework, certifications, or a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is an advantage.
