Role Overview And Core Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Guide and mentor junior developers, providing technical support, code reviews, and best practice recommendations.
Participate in application design discussions and contribute to architecture and technology decisions
. Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, backend services, and database structures.
Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing, documentation, and adherence to development standards.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex application issues while ensuring platform stability and performance.
Optimize application and database performance through efficient coding and query optimization techniques.
Support cloud-based deployments and collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD and release activities
Required Knowledge And Experiences
8+ years of experience in web application development using PHP and related technologies.
Strong experience with Laravel framework and enterprise application development.
Experience guiding developers through technical challenges, conducting code reviews, and promoting engineering best practices.
Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
Required Technical Skills
PHP and Laravel Framework - Expert
SQL, MySQL, and Relational Database Design & Optimization - Expert
JavaScript and jQuery - Strong Proficiency
Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices
AWS (Amazon Web Services) and/or GCP (Google Cloud Platform) familiarity
Strong Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA) fundamentals
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes
Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
