Senior Freelance Developers - EU-based | Remote projects with Swiss IT agencies
Coco Link Oy is opening applications for a selected network of independent senior developers interested in future projects with Swiss IT agencies.
We are looking for established freelance professionals with at least 5 years of relevant experience and strong expertise in one of these stacks:
• Java / Spring Boot
• C# / .NET
• Node.js / TypeScript
Backend-focused full-stack developers with substantial expertise in one of these stacks are also welcome. This call is for experienced specialists; junior and trainee profiles are outside its scope.
HOW WE WORK TOGETHER
Coco Link acts as the commercial and administrative contact between independent developers and Swiss IT agencies: identifying suitable opportunities, coordinating agreements and handling billing.
The agency defines the project requirements and coordinates project interfaces. You contribute your expertise as an independent business, organize your own delivery within the agreed scope and retain responsibility for your technical work. This is a B2B collaboration, not an employment offer. The intended setup preserves your independence rather than integrating you into an agency’s or end client’s employee organization.
WHO CAN APPLY?
• Freelancers or independent businesses established and operating in an EU member state.
• Legally entitled to provide the proposed cross-border services from their country of operation.
• Proven experience delivering production software independently.
• Professional English and reliable communication.
• Interest in remote assignments for Swiss IT agencies from February 2027 onwards.
Please include your main stack, relevant project experience, country of business establishment, expected hourly rate and potential availability.
TIMELINE
Applications: 28 September–1 December 2026, inclusive.
Interviews and technical assessments: December 2026.
First potential assignments: no earlier than February 2027, depending on client demand and project fit.
We aim to build a selected pool of approximately 10-20 senior specialists. Admission to the pool does not guarantee an assignment, minimum workload or income. Our intended model includes a review after 24 months from the start of an assignment relationship. The parties can then discuss continued cooperation through Coco Link or a different arrangement, subject to their agreements. This does not imply a guaranteed 24-month assignment.
