Role Description The Junior Developer (Entry-Level / Junior) role is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting the development and maintenance of internal and customer-facing digital solutions. Day-to-day tasks may include assisting with coding and debugging, implementing small features, and fixing minor issues under the guidance of senior developers. The role involves collaborating with team members to understand requirements, writing clean and well-documented code, and participating in code reviews to learn best practices. The Junior Developer will also help with basic testing, troubleshooting technical problems, and updating documentation to ensure systems remain reliable and user-friendly. This position is designed to help an early-career professional build practical development experience within a global food organization.
Qualifications
Foundational programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to write and understand basic code.
Knowledge of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, basic front-end frameworks) and familiarity with simple back-end or database concepts.
Understanding of software development fundamentals, including version control tools (e.g., Git) and basic testing practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in debugging and documenting solutions.
