CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud and AI capabilities at scale. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. The CSCP organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as plan, source, make, deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), sustainability, and decommissioning of datacenter assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is supported by more than 300 datacenters around the world that enable services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries.
Microsoft Cloud Planning (MCP) is the central planning function within CSCP focused on forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning for all Microsoft Cloud services and associated hardware, directly impacting the success of Microsoft's cloud business.

Responsibilities
Develop and improve capacity plans to meet customer needs while maintaining compliance with policies, capacities, and contractual requirements.
Generate accurate demand plans for specific business units, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Monitor and manage the demand plan through real-time analysis to ensure operational rigor.
Optimize inventory and buffer levels to achieve desired service levels at the possible cost.
Drive supply-demand match and mitigate capacity gaps using advanced what-if scenarios for effective decision-making.
Provide clear forecasting and prioritized signals to downstream execution teams.
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, finance, and supply chain to ensure objectives are met.
Manage KPIs to optimize availability, revenue, and cost in end-to-end planning processes.
Identify opportunities for process, tool, and system improvements and lead efforts for transformational change.
Apply advanced analytics for rich insights and key strategic decisions.
Manage plan alterations to accommodate changes in features, offerings, hardware infrastructure, or operational needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 3+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in end-to-end supply chain processes (e.g., planning, sourcing, logistics, fulfillment) and working across functions to deliver program outcomes OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, related product/technology, Business Administration, or Engineering field (Master's preferred).
7-10 years of experience in the supply chain domain, particularly in demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
Familiarity with Cloud Supply Chain processes and optimization strategies.
Proficient in enterprise planning systems and business intelligence platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Power BI, SQL, and Tableau.
Expertise in Program Management, capable of leading cross-functional teams on complex projects.
Good analytical skills with experience applying insights to decision-making and process improvement.
