Data Specialist

The Kyvos Insights Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance multidimensional data cubes and semantic models. This role focuses on enabling "speed-of-thought" analytics on massive datasets, ensuring that business users can query billions of records with sub-second latency across various BI tools.
Key Responsibilities
Strong experience as a Data Business Analyst.
Strong experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and documentation.
Hands-on experience with Power BI including report development and data analysis.
Hand on with Kyvos or similar OLAP/data analytics platforms preferred.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to analyze complex datasets and data models.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes and data governance.
Experience creating source-to-target mappings, business rules and functional specifications.
Ability to understand and document data lineage, table relationships and data transformations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
Kyvos Expertise: Hands-on experience with Kyvos Insights (cube design, relationship mapping, and semantic modeling).
OLAP Knowledge: Strong understanding of OLAP concepts (MOLAP/HOLAP), Star/Snowflake schemas, and multidimensional modeling.
SQL & Query Languages: Proficiency in SQL is mandatory. Experience with MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) or DAX is highly preferred for advanced calculations.
Cloud Data Ecosystems: Familiarity with modern data stacks like Snowflake, Databricks, AWS S3/Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
Programming: Basic scripting knowledge in Python or Java for automation and custom API integrations.
BI Tooling: Experience configuring connections between Kyvos and major BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau).
