About the role
We are looking for a Senior Manager I – Business Analytics to drive business planning, performance tracking, and decision-making across demand and supply. This role will own analytics for Orders per Day (OPD), business governance, projections, and the metrics that explain growth and operational performance.
You will partner with business, category, growth, supply chain, operations, and finance teams to translate data into clear priorities, actionable recommendations, and measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities
OPD and growth analytics: Track OPD performance across cities, stores, categories, and customer cohorts. Explain deviations from plan, identify growth opportunities, and quantify the impact of business interventions.
Business governance: Own daily, weekly, and monthly performance scorecards and review mechanisms. Establish consistent metric definitions, validate data quality, and drive follow-through on actions with clear owners and timelines.
Projections and planning: Build demand and OPD forecasts for near-term execution and longer-term planning. Incorporate seasonality, events, promotions, expansion, and customer trends; develop scenarios and improve forecast accuracy.
Supply-side analytics: Evaluate availability, assortment depth, stock outs, inventory health, replenishment, fill rates, and supply readiness. Identify constraints affecting demand fulfilment and recommend corrective actions.
Demand-side analytics: Analyse customer acquisition, activation, retention, order frequency, conversion, average order value, and category mix. Identify the drivers of demand and assess the effectiveness of growth initiatives.
Integrated business insights: Connect demand signals with supply capacity to identify gaps, estimate their impact on orders and revenue, and recommend trade-offs across growth, availability, and efficiency.
Analytics leadership: Lead and mentor analysts, prioritise the analytics road map, and build scalable dashboards and analytical frameworks. Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders.

Experience in forecasting, root-cause analysis, cohort analysis, and evaluating business initiatives.
Strong understanding of demand and supply metrics, preferably in quick commerce, e-commerce, retail, or consumer technology.
Ability to structure ambiguous problems, distinguish symptoms from underlying drivers, and turn analysis into business decisions.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and execution skills.
